From Milan: from Parma-La Spezia (A15), follow Livorno-Rosignano (A12 till the end of the motorway), take the Aurelia ss1 (free-highway) direction Rome; exit Follonica Est and follow Massa Marittima.
From Milan: motorway “Autostrada del Sole” (A1), follow Bologna-Florence; exit at Firenze Impruneta and take the four-lane highway direction Siena (freehighway Florence-Siena); from here you can choose between three possibiliy 1) exit Colle Val d’Elsa Sud following, always, Follonica-Montieri; 2) exit Siena and continue for Grosseto on the road called Siena-Grosseto, take the exit for Civitella Marittima and Ribolla-Massa Marittima; 3) does not exit at Civitella, continue to Grosseto-Roselle and take the variant SS1 Aurelia (freehighway) direction Livorno, exit at Follonica Est and follow for Massa Marittima.
From Venice: from the Venice-Bologna (A4 and A13) follow for Florence (A1); exit at Firenze Impruneta and follow the 3 directions already given above.
From Rome: you can either take the highway that leads to Civitavecchia (A12 exit obliged to Civitavecchia but then continues on the Aurelia SS1) which directly the Aurelia SS1; follow the direction of Livorno and exit at Follonica Est; continue follow Massa Marittima.
